Renaissance Sound has offered me the opportunity to complete my debut jazz album. It is one of the most organized places I have ever recorded in and very neat. The amount of quality of equipment is extraodinary and well worth it for the set up he has. The great thing is that there is a wide variety of instruments available to you in order to record anything that you need in order to make your project sound great. I had the pleasure of embarking on a album project at Renaissance studios in Toronto recently. The facility was both well equipped and comfortable, with very reasonable hourly rates. Laurence Roscoe, the engineer and proprietor of the studio, certainly knows his way around an impressive array of the latest studio gear. Laurence is also a very talented musician/songwriter that constantly provides great input and support, and is not averse to experimenting with new ideas. He is one of the engineers that truly works with the artist. My entire experience at Renaissance was handled both professionally and personably - to the extent I might add where I saw it appropriate to deem Laurence as a co-producer of my project. If asked if I would ever record at Renaissance Sound again? I would say, "in an instant". Thank you Laurence!
